Caring for the Caribbeans

Caring for the Caribbean (1).png

Each year, Traveler on a Mission expands its reach beyond Connecticut through our Caring for the Caribbean initiative.

This program brings the same fun-filled, educational hygiene workshops we offer at home to children across the Caribbean—many of whom reside in orphanages or underserved communities.  Through this initiative, we aim to not only provide hygiene essentials but to also equip children with knowledge and skills that promote dignity, health, and self-confidence.

What the Kids Experience

The Salvation Army Sunshine Home for Girls provides a safe haven for teenage girls who have experienced abuse, have been deemed delinquent, or have no family support system. This residential home offers stability, care, and guidance to help these young women heal and thrive.

St. Christopher Children’s Home is dedicated to offering a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children ages 5 to 18 who are orphaned, neglected, victims of abuse, or placed into care by the courts. Through holistic development programs, the Home focuses on empowering each child to reach their full potential while ensuring their protection and well-being.

In collaboration with Love Unconditional, Traveler on a Mission supports year-round programs that uplift vulnerable communities in the Dominican Republic. Love Unconditional provides nutritious meals, education, family support, and outreach to orphans, at-risk children —offering not only care but also dignity and hope for a better future.
